About Us

Joan Merritt is the Owner/Creator of the MahJ E Z. My love for Mah Jongg and for teaching this challenging game, combined with a 34-year career in the classroom, was the foundation for creating the MahJ E Z. I always looked for ways to make my classroom instruction motivational, interesting and meaningful. With these qualities in mind, the MahJ E Z became a natural teaching tool for those who are learning the game, as well as providing a "gentle reminder" of the rules for the experienced player.
